Everyday Cosplay: Outlander

Hey Angliophiles! Starz' Outlander returns on April 9th and I have all my plaid picked out. Do you?!
I first heard about Outlander during San Diego Comic Con 2014 when the hype was super real. The Music Maven was all in a tizzy because she has been a fan of the books since the beginning. The release of book eight even coincided with the con!
The SDCC both was like non other I had ever seen! The booth followed the story of Claire in her own time of England during World War II and finding the stones which transporter back in time to Scotland 1743....
Where plaid is all the rage with the klansmen. I can't help but sport my red plaid shirt all. the. time. It is one of my favorite things to layer with! And now that I am in Denver, where you never know what the weather will be, layers are key! My other favorite plaid purchase is this dress from Target! It is the softest thing ever! It is perfect to wear around the house, date night and layer over a long sleeve tee and jeans!

  2. How fun! I've had the first Outlander book forever but haven't read it yet. All this hype for the show is making me want to finally do it.

Plus I have a Renaissance Faire costume that now I'm thinking I can totally pass off as Outlander cosplay for next year! There's no plaid but I think it would work. ;)

  3. I too am a fan of plaid. I have several plaid short sleeve tops, but would not mind adding several of those items you posted to my collection.
