Figuring Out My Place In Time & Space: The Pisces Connection + All The Feelz

Just this week I was telling someone, jokingly, that I don’t have friends. It can feel that way sometimes. When you get caught up with the busyness of life. A lot of my really close friends live in different states and as of late, I’ve felt like I’ve only word vomited all over them each time we’ve spoke. I hate feeling like a burden on people. I know that being friends means that this shouldn’t even be a question, but it’s hard when you feel like you are only dumping crazy feelings all over someone all the time. And as of late, I have ALL the crazy feelings!
Enter this amazing lady pictured above. She IS my friend and she DOES live in LA! I felt like my previous relationship with my Ex, didn’t allow me foster relationships with my friends and especially not with friends who lived near me. I was admittedly lazy with my friendships before and am angry at myself about that now. Thanks to this woman, I’ve found a FEELS soul mate because we are both Pisces.

I’ve always wondered why I feel so much. Why I get excited for everything. Why I love a lot of people. I don’t have a hard time telling people I love them. I LOVE telling people I love them. Another thing my Ex found difficult to understand. Randomly I turned to my astrologic sign. With one Google, I learned exactly what I’ve always thought about myself but couldn’t find the words to express.

"Pisces is one of the deepest and most sensitive signs of the zodiac, and many people consider it to also be the one that is the most difficult to truly understand. Pisces at its best is creative, intuitive, and compassionate, making those born under this sign ideal for careers in the creative arts. Pisces natives are typically natural observers, preferring comfortable seats on the sidelines as opposed to front and center positions in the limelight more often than not."

"Pisceans also tend to be introspective, quiet, vulnerable, and very shy, often looking inwards and needing time to themselves when life gets tough, and sometimes completely burying their heads in the sand in hopes that their problems will simply go away if ignored. Pisces can also be one of the most charming and like able signs as well.”

I’ve learned more about myself in the last three months than I have in my entire life. Even in the past two weeks. I feel more and more like myself with each passing day. I feel stronger. Stronger than I ever thought I was or could ever hope to be. I have doubts and worries about my future. I let my mind wander way too far down different paths. But I’ve learned to pull myself back and remember not to dwell in the what if’s. The future is coming and I need to be in the present to prepare and make it happen.

I've recently, in the past two days, started to give myself a pep talk as I walk into work each morning. I tell myself that you will have a great day, that you are happy, you have amazing friends and family who care about you and a passion in life and what I’m doing in it. And for the past two days it has really worked! I'm happier than I've ever been...
So happy that I just HAVE to tell you about my 4th of July! I went with some friends {yes more LA friends!} to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for Cinespia. Cinespia only happens in the summer months here in LA and it is one of the most magical events in the city. Everyone packs a picnic dinner, blankets, pillows, chairs and even tables to watch a movie on the mausoleum wall. This year's 4th of July movie was Top Gun it is one of my favorite movies of all time. This was my second time at Cinespia. The first was not so great. I went with people who could care less about the movie {GREASE!} and didn’t have the FEELS for the film like I described above. THIS time at Cinespia was an experience I’ve always wanted.
My group was super pumped for the movie. They were prepared with food and chairs and BEER. We got prime seats and they were all as excited for the movie and experience as I was. Everyone was cheered at the best parts and the movie ended with the most gorgeous fireworks display I've ever seen. I don’t think the smile left my face until I feel a sleep last night.

Now bring on my friends...my loves…my Comic Con!

  18. I am also HORRIBLE at tending to my friendships. It's just so much easier to cocoon at home with a nice game or comic and not worry about 'real feelings.' I totally feel you on the Pisces thing, people tend to think I've got it together on the surface, but underneath I am usually a mess.

  20. Yay for Pisces! I've noticed that sometimes I just need those chill out days, but, I also need the social days. And too much of either can tire me out.
I miss our walks, and I love you girlie! Never doubt that! Truly, you were a friend I have been blessed with at the right moment in time!
    **hugs**
