Jenny comes from a posh up bringing so a life in East London is an eye opening experience for her. Though I throughly enjoyed the show and it kept me coming back for more, I've never disliked a main character more.
Jenny hardly ever has a true smile on her face which makes you think, why is she even choosing to do this job? She never seems like she is enjoying what she does, when she says that she does, I cannot believe her.
I find myself connecting more with other characters and rooting for their success more than Jenny's. Here is a bit of a spoiler: Jenny's relationship with her good friend Jimmy is one example. He is the sweet, kind and adorable friend of Jenny since childhood. He has pinned after her for a long time, but she is stuck on a married man. When Jimmy finally moves on, Jenny is upset?..but I cannot feel bad for her after two seasons of him waiting. I am glad he finally found some happiness and someone who cares for him like he deserves.
Two of my favorite characters are Chummy, who is a lovely and caring person, and my favorite story line had to be Sister Bernadette!
Overall I like and recommend the show. I would love to know how others who have watched the show feel about Jenny's character! Is it just me?! Let me know in the comments below! You can see all my Cutting Cable recommendations HERE!
